About
My name is Tinisha Bell, I was born in Traverse City on August 1993, Satan’s been trying to take me out from day one, but not that long ago I was truly walking towards death. Even though I was young, naive and immature I had no hope of having a good future. I lived a life so full of sin that it was destroying me. But one day I had an encounter with Jesus. At Mission Bible Training Center, in Gaastra MI, they preached about Jesus. I had known about Jesus throughout my childhood. But something about this message really hit close to my heart, about the Cross of Christ. After hearing this and self-reflecting, I fell on my knees to repent of my mistakes and sins. In my confession I began to feel the arms of my heavenly father wrap around me, feeling his love of acceptance and forgiveness as I became reborn again. Repentance changed the course of my life. It brought me to my knees in surrender, renewing my mind and spirit. Repentance brought me a sense of peace, and inner joy that I had never experienced before. The power of my repentance gave me a salvation I never knew could be possible. God turned my life around, now all my hope is now in the name of JESUS. My breakthrough in my repentance has given me restoration in my marriage, and family. Each day I can see the changes that the Lord is making in me. No test or temptation is beyond what others have faced, but in it all I must remember that God will never leave me or forsake me, he will not let me get pushed past my limits. I’ve learned through my life situations, to become patient, have self-control, have faithfulness as well as learning to love unconditionally in obedience to Christ. What happens outwardly in my life is not as important as what is happening inside me. God used whatever it took in my past to shape me into the character that he desired. I’ve learned to not become resentful and angry with God when troubles arise. Leaning on the Lord through prayer and supplication for strength, and peace. God has an incredible plan for my life. I know from personal experiences that life can be hard, and the issues we face can be very painful. But no matter what the circumstances are we must get up, brush ourselves off, pick up our life, and keep walking. God’s blessings will broaden with every step we take towards him. I hope that one day through it all that you too will recognize God’s great love for you. Learning to rest in Him when you walk or stumble through seasons that make you feel as if you won’t make it.
Remember God is with you, today, tomorrow and always.
